24 hours in Sao Paulo

This weekend was a holiday so my friend Paul and I decided to visit some friends in Sao Paulo. Frist stop was Daniel. He pick us up from the airport and we went to Paulista Avenue, this is the famous street in the old financial centre. Normally the traffic in this street is chaotic, but during holidays they close the street so now you could walk this eight lane road. We took a beer and grabbed some food at a nearby bar. After, we made our way to Daniel’s place to prepare us for the night. He lived in the neighbourhood Liberdade which is where the Chinatown of Sao Paulo is located. We took a shower and a drink and quickly left with the metro to a nice bar. Here we went with some other friends from Daniel. After the ‘pre-drinks’ and some nice food we made our way to the club. After a short night of sleep we met with another friend group. Because they lived in Itatiba, a small city 2 hours from Sao Paulo. Because we didn’t have that much time we decided to only visit Beco Batman. This an area in the Vila Madalena neighbourhood full with graffiti street art. Because it starting to rain we decided to go to Itatiba. Here we stayed in a huge villa with swimming pool and our own guest house! That night we went to a local with live music and beautiful view of the whole city. The day after we had a BQQ with other friends and family and of course we took a dive in the swimming pool!
